I'm an applied mathematician, which means that I enjoy using mathematical techniques to solve real-world problems. Most of my work is in the broad field of ecology, with a particular focus on aquatic habitats (e.g. coral reefs, lakes) and spatially explicit problems. I have additionally published a few epidemiological papers. Mathematically, my work incorporates nonlinear dynamics, data science, and machine learning.
If you'd like to see a list of all of my publications, you can do so on ResearchGate or Google Scholar. If you would like a PDF copy of one of them but it isn't available online, you can email me and I'll send it to you.
In addition to these papers, I have also reviewed a mathematical ecology textbook for SIAM. You can read my review here.
